Install & Configure a backend

GeoGirafe has be designed to work with different backends, and at the moment, it is supported by 2 backends: GeoMapFish and GeoRama.

GeoMapFish

GeoMapFish is an open-source project and its backend, named c2cgeoportal, is maintained by the company Camptocamp (https://camptocamp.com/). It's a stable and widely used project, based on Pylons Pyramid and supporting various GIS servers.

If you're interested in the GeoMapFish backend, you can try the Getting-Started: https://github.com/geomapfish/getting_started.
If you want more information, please contact the community at https://geomapfish.org/ or Camptocamp directly.

Georama

Georama is an open-source project maintained by OPENGIS.ch.
It is a young but highly promising project based on Django and a lightweight version of QGIS-Server.

If you're interested in the Georama backend, visit georama.io or contact OPENGIS.ch directly.
