Install & Configure a backend

GeoGirafe has be designed to work with different backends, and at the moment, it is supported by 2 backends: GeoMapFish and GeoRama.

GeoMapFish

GeoMapFish is an open-source project and its backend, named c2cgeoportal, is maintained by the company Camptocamp (https://camptocamp.com/). It's a stable and widely used project, based on Pylons Pyramid and supporting various GIS servers.

If you're interested in the GeoMapFish backend, you can try the Getting-Started: https://github.com/geomapfish/getting_started.
If you want more information, please contact the community at https://geomapfish.org/ or Camptocamp directly.

GeoRama

GeoRama is an open-source project and is maintained by the company OpenGis (https://www.opengis.ch/).
It is a young but highly promising project, based on DJango and a whole new improved light version of QGis-Server.

If you're interested in the GeoRama backend, please contact OpenGIS directly.
