Release Cycle
GeoGirafe follows a quarterly release cycle, with official releases published four times a year:
in March, June, September, and December.
The release schedule is publicly available on GitLab: 🔗 GeoGirafe Milestones
The content of each release depends on the resources available for the project.
Even if only minor changes are included, a release will always be published on schedule, four times a year.
Development Releases
In addition to official releases, a development (dev) release is published for every commit in the project. This allows users to track the latest changes in real time, without waiting for the next official release.
The GeoGirafe team strives to ensure that dev releases are as stable as possible, following a Continuous Deployment approach. However, despite our best efforts, minor regressions may occasionally occur outside of the four annual official releases.
You can choose whether to follow dev releases for the latest features or stick to the official quarterly releases for maximum stability.
